Just a quick note here. I’m sitting in the InfoComm Today production room that the InfoComm team has graciously given us. After a day of setting up, meeting some old friends, and getting connected with new ones… I’m tired. And it’s only Monday.
In all seriousness, this looks to be a really great show. After sneaking into the Sennheiser demo room while they were setting up, I witnessed the biggest flexible speaker I’ve ever seen. They call it the Anakonda, and it’s a new line in their K-Array series.
It seems like this will be the year of the VC software companies making a good push into that market. There are a number of them here in Orlando. Some I have already interviewed. You’ll hear from the CEO of Suitable Technologies on this Friday’s AVWeek who are showing a personalized, individual VC solution. You drive (I drove) around this device that has wheels, a stem and you on the display monitor where your head would be. You can manuver around the office or worksite.
Tomorrow is the Technolgoy Manager’s Symposium. It is the first year for this Super Tuesday class and I am really excited for it. Also, if you listened to this past week’s AVWeek and haven’t heard yet, Mr. Joshua Stackhouse (@StackhouseAV) proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes. Congrats, my friend.
Time to go find some food, get some rest, and get ready for SUPER Tuesday. Good night all.
